GLP-1 weight loss through telehealth
Answer a few questions about your health history so your provider can review whether medical weight management, including GLP-1 medication, may be appropriate for you. Telehealth visits are currently available to patients located in Arizona, Florida, and New Mexico. Learn more about our obesity medicine services, or read about weight management from the NIDDK.
What to expect with GLP-1 weight loss care
GLP-1 weight loss care starts with a careful review of your health history, current medications, and goals. Your provider will decide whether GLP-1 medication is appropriate for you and will explain the benefits, risks, and possible side effects before any treatment begins.
Medication is only one part of GLP-1 weight loss care. Your plan can also include nutrition guidance, activity goals, sleep and stress support, and follow-up visits to track your progress. Some health conditions make these medications unsafe, so please answer every question honestly.
After you submit your intake, request an appointment to talk through the next steps. Telehealth is for non-urgent care only. In an emergency, call 911.
